Two gangsters, believed to be concerned in the killing of singer Sidhu Moosewala, have been killed in an encounter with Punjab Law enforcement in Cheecha Bhakna village of Amritsar, on Wednesday.
In accordance to media studies, the deceased have been determined as Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Kussa. The duo have been amid the killers of the singer who ended up on the run.
A few policemen sustained injuries in the shootout. Cameraperson of news channel was also wounded in the experience.
The encounter started around midday. Roopa was killed 1st, but Kusa continued to hearth at the law enforcement for an hour before he was killed by 4pm, stories NDTV.
The area has been cordoned off and the locals told to stay indoors, stated law enforcement officials.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also recognized as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot useless in Punjab’s Mansa district on Might 29. A CCTV footage lately surfaced displaying Roopa and Kusa using a bicycle at Samalsar in Moga district on June 21.
Police have identified 6 shooters who ended up section of the two modules associated in the killing.
The Unique Cell of the Delhi Law enforcement had previously nabbed a few shooters—Priyavrat Fauji, Kashish and Ankit Sirsa.
It is thought that Kusa experienced fired at Moosewala with an AK-47 rifle. Kusa and Roopa were being in a Toyota Corolla vehicle which was trailing Moosewala’s automobile at Jawahar Ke village in Mansa district on Could 29.
Soon after committing the crime, Kusa and Roopa experienced snatched a vehicle which was later on discovered abandoned in Moga district.
