Delhi Transport Corporation's Bus Driver Shot Dead By Men On Bike In Delhi

A 45-year-previous male was shot useless by two unidentified bike-borne men in entrance of his relatives in southeast Delhi’s Govindpuri, police reported on Thursday.

The sufferer Sanjeev Kumar, a community, was a bus driver with the Delhi Transportation Corporation, they stated.

All around 8 pm on Wednesday, Sanjeev Kumar, along with his wife and eight-calendar year-aged son, have been returning from the market in Fateh Singh Marg on a bicycle when the two adult men opened fire at him, a senior law enforcement officer reported, adding the bullet strike his again in close proximity to the shoulder.

He was rushed to Mazidiya Clinic in which he was declared dead, the officer claimed.

The result in of the killing is however to be ascertained and all angles are getting probed, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Esha Pandey reported.

She mentioned a scenario below Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act has been registered dependent on the assertion of Kumar’s wife.

We are looking for CCTV footage, if any, to recognize the accused and set up the sequence of functions that unfolded, she reported.
