(Shots by David Whealon) It has been a soaked yr for NHRA Drag Racing and the Virginia Nationals have been no distinct. Foremost up to the race there was a great deal of doubt as to whether or not they would even be ready to get the occasion in and the temperature forecast looked like racers would go straight into eliminations on Sunday dependent on points instead of qualifying. Luckily for us a break in the temperature acquired most classes competent and the function had much more racing motion than was predicted.
Many thanks to our good friend David Whealon, who stayed in the course of the weekend waiting around for breaks in the rain, we have obtained some interesting pictures to share of all the nitro motion, doorway cars, and even some bikes!
