VERO Beach — A Texas male died just after crashing his motorbike in an try to stay away from a collision with a car or truck on U.S. 1, law enforcement reported.

Vero Seashore law enforcement are investigating the crash, which happened around 6:45 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 1 south of 36th Road and Cleveland Clinic Indian River Clinic.

Lt. Brian Kerensky explained future 7 days detectives will briefly shut down the northbound U.S. 1 lane wherever the crash transpired to recreate the scene for forensic proof.
