ITHACA, N.Y.—The Ithaca Law enforcement Department (IPD) responded to the 700 block of West Court Avenue at close to 5:45 a.m. on July 15 for a report of a few males donning facial area masks and pushing a bike into the back again of a box truck.
According to a release from IPD, officers at the scene noticed the a few guys in the cab of the truck, and additional investigation located that there were two bikes in the truck. Just one of the bikes was confirmed to be stolen and all three suspects had been deemed to be in possession of the stolen motorcycle.
The men were being discovered as Cameron McCaffery, Joshua Walsh and Vincent Freeman. They ended up arrested ahead of getting billed with legal possession of stolen house in the 3rd degree.
The a few guys have been arraigned in Ithaca Metropolis Court, and Walsh was produced on his personal recognizance because of to the charge not being bail-eligible.
McCaffery, who was needed on several warrants, was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail on a bail of $5,000 or a bond of $10,000.
Freeman was remanded to the jail and, owing to a count of 5 prior felony convictions, was ineligible for bail to be set.
