Motorcyclist dies in Macon wreck, Bibb County officials say

A 32-12 months-outdated east Macon person was killed Sunday afternoon when the bike he was using crashed into the aspect of a pickup truck on Jeffersonville Road in eastern Bibb County, sheriff’s officials mentioned.

The sufferer, Ezekile Armo Akim Hoskins, was taken by ambulance to a neighborhood medical center in which he was pronounced dead, according to a sheriff’s assertion.

The wreck happened at about 5:15 p.m. northwest of Dry Branch along U.S. Freeway 80.

A Twiggs County man driving a Chevrolet Silverado was heading northwesterly on the freeway and generating a still left flip on to Franklinton Highway when Hoskins’ motorcycle, “traveling at a large rate of speed” from the opposite route, slammed into the rear passenger-aspect of the truck.

The driver of the truck, a 71-year-aged guy, was not damage. As of Sunday evening, no costs had been filed in the incident.
