A deadly site visitors crash occurred Monday morning at South Pine Avenue and Southwest 17th Avenue, according to the Ocala Police Office.
The crash transpired about 6:50 a.m., and for hrs the southbound lanes of South Pine Avenue ended up blocked and website traffic was getting rerouted on to Southeast 17th Street, according to OPD Community Info Officer Jeff Walczak.
According to Ocala police, a dump truck northbound on Pine was turning still left onto 17th Road and collided with a motorcycle that was southbound on Pine.
The motorbike rider died.
The dump truck was marked “R&L Transport, Inc.,- Design Division.” The driver declined to comment.
