Two armed men looted a jewelry shop close to Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, but it went haywire as their bike broke down while escaping after the daring daylight theft that had all the drama of a heist film. However, they stole one more bike and succeeded in escaping.
CCTV footage confirmed two adult males parking their motorcycle around Sagarika Jewellers in Jalna on the outskirts of the point out money. The accused had been donning helmets and the visors had been pulled down as they entered the shop.
They sprayed some chemical on the shopkeeper’s facial area and started looting some jewellery. But the warn proprietor pressed an alarm bell beside him, law enforcement reported.
